We are in the Home Stretch in the quest for political domination and agenda control. With just a few days left, before Election Day 2012, the American people will once again, choose their next president. Will Obama stay in Washington, or will he be sent back to Chicago, with Romney pulling the upset?
Certainly, no one expected it to be this close, at this late Hour, but as I have noted, unlike 2008, many who did not then, are beginning to THINK.
In the eyes of many, much is at stake in the social/familial, economic and foreign policy planes. Never in recent history, have the issues created such demarcations.
On the issue of abortion for example, very controversial statements have been made, troubling to many, which have used to demonize social conservatives as being dismissive, even outright hostile to women.
As there are no guests on Critical Discourse this Saturday, let us sit down together, and try to make some sense, hopefully separating the rhetoric from the reality.
