The Mask: Which one do you have on?

Remember the Jim Carey movie where he would put on the mask and become something he was NOT. We deal with this way too often in work as well as romantic relationships where people put on masks until their true colors have to show. • Why do people feel they have to put on a mask from the start? • What are people thinking when they show up as someone else when they KNOW they have to reveal who they really are one day? • How does the mask affect the other person involved? • How can we move towards not using the mask at all?
