In the course of a heated argument, many times things are said that are hurtful to the ones we love. Some people don't realize the things they say cut deep and sometimes, like adeep cut, the wound gets infected and becomes much worse over time if not cleaned up and treated in the beginning. Letting hurtful words linger in your mind after an argument can erode a relationship over time, and unless you address it, and heal the hurt, it can be the cause of a later break up. Are you still hurt and angry over something your loved one said during a disagreement? Are you the one who said something hurtful, but you expect your loved one to forgive and forget? Words do hurt, and some things should never be said, no matter how angry you are. Today we'll discuss a few couples who are struggling with forgiveness after a few ugly words were exchanged during an argument. We'll hear advice from our relationship experts Imam Kareem Hameed and Sister Munirah Habeel.
