Modern Motherhood: Have Independent Women Hurt the Family?

A new report states that the United States is only the 28th best place in the world to be a mother. According to the State of the World's Mothers 2010 report, done annually by the Save the Children organization, Norway ranks first and Australia second. The index suggests that providing mothers with “access to education, economic opportunities and health care gives mothers and their children the best chance to survive and thrive.” Markeita McIntosh of Well Woman, a holistic health care system for women and their families with a focus on spiritual maturity, emotional stability, physical health and financial wealth, will be on the show to discuss how her organization is trying to improve the status of American women and mothers.
