Because of the way that men are wired (which is sexually), watching changes p*rn everything about who you are. So, the man becomes the victim. Watching p*rn shapes the way that he sees himself, the way that he sees women, and the way that he sees the world around him. Men who become addicted to watching p*rn become insecure, angry, and entitled. The more extreme versions of such men will become a danger to society.
