ACAC Staff will next week embark on an inservice which will be dealing with how to help the poor, rather than hurth them through our giving.  Bob Lupton will be there to discuss his book Toxic Charity: How Churches and Charities Hurt Those They Help (And How to Reverse It).  In this book, Bob discusses harmful charity efforts and displays not just that, but shares HOW these things are actually harmful.  You maybe surpsrised at what he labels harmful and helpful, so don't miss your chance to engage in a high level conversation with a high level individual!
