BUSINESS TALK featuring Roger Watson, faculty with the University of Rio Grande/ Rio Grande Community College. Roger has over 20 years in post-secondary business educational programs, 10 plus years in the banking community and 20 plus years as a small business owner. Roger is instrumental in a number of key business classes at the Emerson E. Evans School of Business that includes a capstone class assisting students in best understanding how small business use funding resources to a successful conclusion. He assists students with enrolling in a Market Competition competing against other Universities in building a small business. Some of his students have placed in the top 100 out of 2,000 competing Universities He also takes RIO students on a yearly New York Stock Exchange visit of which one year, he was honored in ‘RINGING the STOCK EXCHANGE BELL’ for his dedication to his work with students.
