Join us for a live discussion and chat room with an Iraqi doctor turned Fulbright student in New York City. Ghalib Al-Jibara came to the U.S. less than one and a half years ago on a student visa after practicing as a doctor in Baghdad for three years during the war. Through Fulbright, he is currently doing research on Arab children’s health in Astoria, Queens at New York University. His goal is to build a heath care research center in Iraq once he graduates. Please join us as Ghalib shares his personal account of living and working in Baghdad during war, and his dreams for the future for Iraqi citizens.
