Source Material #099 - "The Flintstones” (DC) (2016) - part 1

Welcome everyone to Source Material, I am your host, Jesse Starcher, and to start off 2017 we’ve decided to bring to you a set of interesting comics for discussion.

DC has launched a Hannah Barbera line of comics, one of which is The Flintstones, written by Mark Russell.  Now this societal satirical commentary is not at all what I expected a cartoon comic from DC to be.  So, by Mark Radulich’s request, we are bringing our discussion of the first 4 issues to your ears in this 3 part episode.

Part one is our conversation about our history with the Flintstone’s property, and what it was like when we used to watch them on TV.
