About Our Guest David Schaefers is the Senior Vice President of Franchise Development for Meineke Car Care Centers. He is responsible for the sale of Meineke opportunities and company-owned service centers. Prior to this, Schaefers worked for Econo-Lube N'Tune, Inc., serving as Director of Franchisee Relations, Vice President of Franchisee Development and then as President. Dave has nearly 20 years of experience within the automotive and franchise industry. Over the last 20 years he has been a multi unit franchise, VP of Development, President of a 200 unit automotive franchise company and is now responsible for the development of 6 automotive related brands. He has personally sold over 400 franchises, and has been involved with nearly 800 franchise transactions.
