Relationships: Breaking free from negative influences

Strong and empowered are two highly charged words, one an adjective and the other a verb, that give meaning to what's required for one to break away from negative influences. 

Girl Talk, Incorporated, headed by Sonya Cooke, is a non-profit organization in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Girl Talk's mission is to equip young girls with life skills that will allow them to become successful in achieving their personal and professional goals.  A strong advocate and active participant of volunteerism, Sonya serves a number of organizations.  Among them are Project Home Indy, Girl's Inc., Visions Summer Beauty camp, and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
