It is fitting that in this season of Elul, the season of repentance leading up to the High Holy Days of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, our Torah portion speaks about teshuva, repentance!

Moses encourages the Israelities that following the Lord and His ways are not too hard and lead to blessings.  God has a plan of blessing for His people and Moses is reviewing it with the Israelites as they get ready to cross over in to the promised land.
