Welcome to the Voice of Change.  I'm Sharon Ann Wikoff, host and producer of this program.

Yesterday, I explored the effects I've seen throughout the years on children and adults as they get

deeply connected to television, social media and cell phones.  Some parents feel say almost have no

choice, but to allow their children to watch television and be on their phones.  Today, I'll explore

some creative ways to engage children in creative and fun ways that allow them to learn more about

their gifts and talents.  Beginning in 1967, in my very first 3rd grade classroom, I began to see the

impact of television on children.  It was extraordinary.  Please call in and share your experience on these programs.

SHARON ANN WIKOFF has worked with children in a variety of capacities over the last 50 +   years.  Some of those

roles were:  the mother of three grown children, an elementary teacher, pre-school teacher, facilitator of mommy and me class,

the director of several day camps and director of children's educational service at several metaphysical churches,  In addition,

She is the author of 3 eBooks on listening to children and wrote a column for a number of years for the Gazette in Sebastopol, California.

She is passionate about being a voice for the voiceless, bringing about new possibilities for those unable to speak for themselves.

Feel free to connect with her through her websites:  www.TheArtOfLivingLife.org  and www.TheArtOfTeachingPiano.com
