This week on The Conversation Cafe™ A.Raquel & Mahoghani Dawn will talk with celebrity & entertainment blogger Ray Cornelius, who keeps us "in the know" about the latest in entertainment news. In the second half of the show A.Raquel & Mahoghani Dawn will discuss “The Real Angle of the Educational System and How It Impacts Black Youth” with Nationally-known author and public speaker, Tunette Powell.

Tunette Powell has received a host of prestigious public speaking awards, including being named the top persuasive speaker in the country in 2012, as she has traveled throughout the country motivating and encouraging young men and women at schools, colleges and universities, and nonprofit organizations. In the words of Mahatma Gandhi, Powell has dedicated her life to being the change she wishes to see.  Powell published her long-awaited debut memoir, The Other Woman – a bold and emotional memoir about her father’s drug addiction and the impact it had on her life. In 2013, Powell shared her story on Oprah’s Lifeclass for Daddyless Daughters. The odds were stacked high against Powell, but she healed through telling her story, letting it go and creating a new story to tell. And she intends to spend the rest of her life helping other women and youth find hope and healing.
