"Flirty February" - Love At First Type - Online Dating

Over the past decade or so online dating has really taken off and become a popular way to find someone to love.  It went from being the rare person you knew meeting someone online, to several friends or family members finding love this way.  Some people meet through common interests online, while others actually go to internet dating sites and seek out their next partner or companion.  Many actually prefer this dating avenue, rather than meeting others through work, friends/family, bars or chance.  There are so many websites available to find someone special, but you first have to know what you are doing and how to be careful in your search.

While some have been very successful at finding someone highly compatible to make them happy through online dating, more have been disappointed by people who end up not being what they portray themselves as on the internet.  Some may be embarrassed of what they really look like or where they are in life and somehow think that they can still find true love when they're starting their search based on shady lies and deceit.  Don't be the one to burn others this way or get burned yourself by someone like this.  Be smart and be careful.
