For nearly twenty years, Jeannel has embraced her management roles in nonprofits, engaging in nontraditional leadership practices and using pictures to solve problems and clarify ideas. Jeannel has traveled throughout the US, Canada and Greece to attend leadership institutes and hone her group-work skills. In 2007, she culminated her masters degree in nonprofit management from Regis University by writing a thesis that provided grounded theory on the “Art of Hosting” a nonprofit. In 2008, after drawing on miles of paper and scores of white boards, she discovered that there was a name for the visual problem solving she had always done: graphic recording and facilitation! Jeannel has trained with luminaries in the visual thinking world, is a member of the International Forum of Visual Practitioners (IFVP), has recorded a variety of small- and large-scale group processes ranging from strategic planning to community summits, and has had a fabulous time doing so!
