The Big Lie~

If you pay any attention to the current 'goings-on' in the USA and the world it would not be unusual (to put is mildly) to be a little nervous; What with the 'war' in the Ukraine, the 'raging' pandemic, 'mass' shootings hither and yon, SCOTUS overturning Roe vs. Wade, and upholding (of all the nerve) the 2nd Amendment, there appears to be a lot to be worried about. This is especially true if you hale from the Left/Liberal side of the political spectrum, because many of the prime beliefs of that perspective are being not just challenged, but outright done away with by the "evil and uncaring' Right/Conservative. This can be very nerve-wracking for those that do not have either an understanding of history and the Constitution and Bill of Rights of the US, or a firm and grounded belief in a beneavolent 'higher power', that is filled with love for all mankind.

Interestingly, and as we have been discussing on our programs these past months, both sides of these perspectives have a lot to worry about, considering that both sides are challenged by the actual 'God's Honest Truth' that appears in the words that Jesus gave to His own eyewitness disciples while He was here on earth. The Words that Jesus spoke disabuse both sides of the arguments of their prime basis for existence, in that both sides "Believe a Lie as if it is the Truth, without accountability!"  The Left believes by faith what they are told is true and superior to the Right by their gurus that elicit emotional responses rather than conclusions based in logic. The Right believes their truth because their picture of God allows them to believe that they are save by grace through faith,  and this tranfers to how they view their secular world.

The Bigger the lie, the more faith it takes to believe it!
