Water Shortage~

Southern California is experiencing a most profound water shortage, so much so that within a month the So Cal municipal water districts will be limiting the watering of lawns to once a week, and restricting water usage overall. There are exceptions. The water district where I live has its own aquifer wells, and has restricted water usage very little during past drought conditions. This doesn't mean that these restrictions will not be put in place.

Life becomes very difficult and incovenient when water is in short supply!

This is also even more true when you view the words of God in the Law, the Prophets and the testimony of Jesus as the spiritual water of eternal life.

Jesus answered and said to her, "Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again; but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life." John 4:13-14.

A shortage of THIS water can lead to the misunderstanding of what is truth and what isn't, and cause sincere and dedicated Christians to "believe a lie as if it is the truth." Doing this is problematic in dealing with how salvation works.

Jesus offers this water free of charge, and without restriction.

And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost. Rev. 22:17 (LP).
