He Said What - "What makes a man feel wanted?"

What makes a man feel needed in a world full of independence? Is there anything that a woman could give or say to bring value into your life or is this one of the many expectancies of being a “man?” Why is it when a man chooses not to open the door, pull out the seat, or show any other “chivalrous” behavior, he’s rude or raised with no manners? Do women put too much pressure on how a man is supposed to conduct himself in public or is this the fault of society?
