Tonya Tolson was born and raised in Trenton, NJ. She has a B.A. in English from Seton Hall University and a M.A. in Educational Administration from Trinity DC University. She is a high school English teacher and has been in education for 13 years now. She started her company Script Divas in 2015 and has edited several books, manuscripts for several authors. She currently resides in Charlotte, NC.
