Momma used to say

This show is a celebration of the old wisdom we got from our Mothers, Fathers, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles, that helped carry us through life. Thesee are truths that have stood the test of time, things my Grandfather told me when I was a boy are as true today as they were then, and as true as they were when his father told him. Things like, ' you don't believe fat meat greasy', ' I can show you better than I can tell you', and one we could stand to reinforce today, ' Be quiet when grown folks is talkin!'. The words of our Elders are the words of our ancestors and we would do ourselves well to hang onto them and pass them on.  So give us a call with your favorite family saying this week on Rap Sessions Radio!
