Dr. Patricia A Washington is a visionary healthcare professional who values interactive patient-practitioner relationships. Her goal is to pioneer the research and development of evidence-based treatment models for holistic medicine, as well as more innovative approaches to training practitioners and students in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
She is an Oriental medical doctor who received her terminal degree from the American College of Tractional Chinese Medicine at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, including specialized training in acupuncture anesthesiology for labor and delivery, internal medicine, neurological disorders, chronic pain and sports medicine using advanced acupuncture techniques during her residencies at Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Henan University Hospital in China. She is an Adjunct Faculty member of the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta.
Her doctoral work was preceded by a Master’s degree from Midwest College of Oriental Medicine and graduate courses at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, both in Chicago, plus a Bachelor of Science from Ohio State University.
