One of America's most successful and in-demand entrepreneurship educators, Chris Hanks, director of the Entrepreneurship Program at the University of Georgia, as our speaker for our July 14 program.

He has developed a process he calls Low Risk Entrepreneurship, his systemized, methodical approach to launching new ventures and maximizing value in existing businesses.  He will show us that by following this approach, you can minimize and/or eliminate the risk of growing your business and ensure equity power in your most significant asset.

As a successful entrepreneur himself, Chris has started a number of businesses in a variety of industries and has led several Business Plan Competition Teams to victory around the United States. He’s taught thousands of people how to become entrepreneurs; and more importantly, their success rate has been second to none as many of their students have successfully started their own firms. He’s the author of a brand new book called School for Startups

Don’t take our word for it. Listen to what Charles Spencer, a former student of Hanks at GSU, had to say about our July speaker: "The unique thing about Chris is that he...knows exactly what an investor wants to see…He tells you, 'If you go through these steps, you are going to have something others want to fund.'”

And, as quoted by the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, Chris said "One of the coolest things about being an entrepreneur is that you're writing down what your life will look like in one year, five years, and seven years from now."
