Tom Zender is the President Emeritus of Unity, a trans-denominational New
Thought spiritual movement. Under his leadership from 2001 to 2007 Unity expanded
to serve more than 3 million people of all faiths worldwide. He also held management
positions at General Electric and Honeywell, and has been a senior vice president in three
publicly held corporations – New York Stock Exchange, NASDAQ and OTC listed. In
addition to his experience with large corporations, he has served as the interim CEO in
entrepreneurial startup companies.
Tom has been on numerous corporate boards, including those of NASDAQ,
Toronto Stock Exchange, and OTC listed public companies. His nonprofit board
positions have included the Association for Global New Thought, Ottawa University, the
Evolutionary Leaders and the Forum for Corporate Directors.
He is a sought after speaker for the topic of spirituality in our work, workplaces
and businesses – raising work consciousness for personal prosperity, business success,
organizational integrity, conscious commerce and economic peace. His recent book about
spirituality and work, God Goes to Work: New Thought Paths to Prosperity and Profits,
was published in 2010 by John Wiley & Sons.
