Did you know that there are many forms of homelessness? Many may also not know that there are several different causes that can lead to homelessness. One of which being affordable housing. Homelessness affects everyone on many different levels yet it appears to be minized and often ignored. It is also being indicated that homelessness is affecting our seniors as well as our veterans. Many individuals are also one disaster away from homelessness. It affects individuals with mental health and substance abuse issues, transitioning from foster care as well as those that are released from jail or prision. It can also occur after the death of a family member. This is just to name a few life challenges.

Last year it was reported that around 552,830 people were experiencing homelessness in the United States which that number is now probably higher. Such was indicated by National Alliance to End Homelessness. In September 2019 The Council Of Economic Advisers addressed The State Of Homelessness In America.
