Ichabod!  The Glory Has Departed

We will teach and discuss what the word of God says about the condition of the church in the last days.

Tonight we will be teaching on the condition of Israel in the time of Eli and Samuel and how similar the conditions are in the church today to when God declared Ichabod over the nation of Israel centuries ago.

During this time Eli's two sons Hophni and Phineas were laying with the women of the congregation and the temple prostitutes, as well as getting fat off of the offerings of the people of God.  We will look at the leadership of the church today and compare it to the sons of Eli who were leaders when God judged Israel as a nation and how God brought judgment upon both Eli and his sons.  Hophni and Phineas were judged for their personal sins and Eli was judged for not correcting and disciplining his sons.
