Tonight we will be talking about geocentricity and heliocentricity. Copernicus crashed the long held notion that the earth was central to everything; that the sun, moon and stars revolved around the earth. He proposed that the Earth revolved around the sun as did the other planets.
In recent years some have challenged that thought and are again trying to prove that the Earth is center and that it is stationary. Tonight we'll explore that thought and compare contrast it against the heliocentristic view that we have all been taught.
Note: We will be just be exploring this idea and no one should come to any conclusions that we are proposing a doctrine by our discussion.
