WE have all had the experience of no matter how much we love someone, how much we like them or even how well we get along, we have a communication breakdown. What do we do when that happens?
Be honest. Honest with our self and honest when we share intimately. When we have communication breakdowns, it may often be easiest to escape, “emotionally disconnect” and go to our coping tools like, drugs, tv, food, work. These coping tools can be helpful and also problematic if it distracts us too far from ourselves and the reality of what we feel inside. First, we want to share what we do when we hurt others. How do we hurt our Self or the other? Then we want to talk about the solution.
