Q & A:How do we know who someone is before getting involved?

This week's question comes from a client of mine who has been working on building stronger relationships. She asks a very valid question - how do you know who someone is before getting too connected to them and then winding up disppointed when they turn out not to be who they say that they are?

This is really a common issue for all of us in relationships. In the early days we see the good bits of this person and vice versa. But after a while we can see the 'real' person behind that happy facade coming through.
