FATIMA SÉBA
Fatima Séba Friday is a holistic practitioner who facilitates healing via the Ancient System of Rhythm Alchemy...a Science that uses rhythm formulas as medicine that energetically empowers the rewiring of the subconscious so that harmony, peace and powerful health can breathe, flow and glow gloriously throughout one’s being. Fatima’s training as a Rhythm Alchemist began thirty years ago as a child musician who, under the guidance of her father, performed affirmation-centric productions with her siblings at school and Kwanzaa celebrations. The force of Rhythm Alchemy rooted into Fatima’s Spirit when she went on to become a Dancer and Drummer at the Deeper Light Drum and Dance Institute in Brooklyn 25 years ago. Her training in deeply Spiritual African dance, Step and drumming choreographies enabled her to become a Nationally certified wellness coach and fitness trainer at the age of 19, her first year in college. There, as an Undergraduate student studying Biology and Psychology, Fatima also became a certified Yoga practitioner who, at that time, still was unclear that holistic healing was her calling. It was not until Fatima obtained her Masters degree in education and started teaching high school at the age of 22 that Fatima realized the power of Rhythm Alchemy. Her rhythmic formulations that transformed her students’ biology curriculum into rhymes, poetry, stories and debates not only increased the performance aptitude of 92% of her students who excelled on their Living Environment Regents their Freshman year; Fatima’s formulations also formed the basis for her students to develop the Spiritual courage and fortitude that helped many of them to see themselves beyond the violence, violation and suicide inducing experiences that influenced their daily lives.
