...in recovery. Recovery is NO ACCIDENT, it is a commitment to a NEW Lifestyle one based on SOBRIETY absent any form of addictive substances.

Welcome to the Road to Recovery! Every week we try to bring to our listeners actual conversations shared by those of us working programs in Recovery. No one says that is was gonna be easy - but worth it? ABSOLUTELY!

Well - that is how it goes in recovery. Unfortunately I received an email that our Guest Speaker for this coming Broadcast will NOT be able to join us once again. Surprize or not - recovery goes on with or without things going the way we planned them to. Dealing with such changes once had most of us in TIZZIES! Angry / Frustrated - feeling like WE were the victims of the actions of individuals left us seething! Ahhhh but that was then and not me today! Sure I am disappointed since I have been trying to get this person to share her EXPERIENCE STRENGTH AND HOPE with us/you my listening audience. However it is not meant to be and that is ok with me today. Move - on! Move forward, unlike my actions of the past.

Thats what SOBRIETY means to me these days. Accepting life on life's terms is my motto today and it works! What will we talk about then? Who knows? Tune in and find out or join in with your own thoughts, comments, questions, concerns. We'd love to have you!

Join us next week March 5th, from 7 to 9 PM CST (Central Standard Time) as we continue our journey into SOBRIETY ONE DAY AT A TIME! Our call-in number is 323-580-5755 or email me at daniel@daare.com and walk along us as we work to Bring Addcitions out of the darkness of Denial into the Light of Acceptance and Recovery!  Just remember - RECOVERY IS NO ACCIDENT! It begins with Surrender and a commitment to wanting more.
