It's only been a few weeks since Whitney Houston passed away.  We are still waiting to learn why she died so young, at the age of 48.

Immediately after Whitney's death, rumors started swirling about Whitney's sexual orientation.  When I looked closer I found out this isn't the first time for such rumors.

Are the reports just nasty rumors or is there truth to what is being said?

The truth about Whitney's love life is important for a number of reasons, not the least of which is the possibility that she hid her lesbianism.  If so, one wonders how that decision impacted her life, her addiction and her premature death.

On today's show, lesbian love expert Barb Elgin shared what she's learned about Whitney Houston's sexual orientation so far.  Barb also engaged listeners and chatters in a discussion about what they've heard and what it all means.

Barb shared that a gay activist from the UK, Peter Tatchell, is perhaps the most credible person that has gone on the record stating he saw Whitney Houston acting lovingly towards Robyn Crawford in 1991 during an HIV fund raiser.

Crawford was Houston's personal assistant earlier on in her career.  Tatchell maintains in a recent article on his blog that Whitney let go of her 'greatest love of all' to please her family and a society that at that time (in the early 1990's) was much less accepting of all gays and lesbians, let alone celebrities.
