Back from the woods and trails of Maine, Nicole Freedman resumes as director of Boston bikes program. We talk about safety, driver/cyclist relations, HubWay expansion, cycletracks and more.
Boston lacks the broad, rectangular layout avenues that make separated cycling feasible in places like NYC. Freedman already has a record of designing and creating Hub-specific alternatives. We'll ask what her second wind will bring.
Note: Nicole was busy as always. She comes in about 24 minutes in, but we get a good 20 or so minutes from her. Her comments are worth waiting for or advancing the program.
