Shanice says in her Bio
She has been telling stories since elementary school, when she wrote her first play about a little girl who faces some harsh adversity. She continued to write throughout her school days, wowing her English teachers with her creativity and natural storytelling ability, which she attribute to many hours spent watching television as a youngster. Martin and Law & Order SVU are two of her all-time favorite television shows, and Malcolm X and What Dreams May Come are two of her favorite films of all time. 

But she says her love of story was born by reading novels. She enjoyed reading different authors, including Terry McMillan and John Steinbeck, and she thoroughly enjoyed novels by V.C. Andrews and Stephen King. Taking in all these aspects of storytelling, She was bound to create her own alternate universe at some point. Her dream was realized in 2014 with the production of Waiting Room, her first short film, which won Best Film at the TPN Film Festival, December 2015, in Atlanta. She is currently in pre-production on a project in which She co-wrote the screenplay, Family Stranger, and she is developing two scripts for the web and cable television as well.
