New Beginnings...Appreciate where you are at in the moment.

Good morning my friends; what a beautiful winter day we are having; I am so grateful that it is not pouring rain and it's a little bit of snow and ice.  Did you see what I did there?

No matter what is happening in your life or around you, try to look at it from a different perspective.  Snow for instance, we want spring and warm weather...However, April showers bring May flowers...April snow will still bring in May flowers.  Thank goodness we are not being drenched by rain.  That is a different way to look at it...most are complaining because its cold...we always complain because we went from winter to summer; we are not experiencing spring.  When summer comes and it's way to hot, we can look back at the cold snowy spring we had.  

We need to learn to appreciate all that is in our life, everything is always working for our highest good; whether we see it that way or not, is a whole other thing.

Look around you, what can you be grateful for today and every day.  I encourage you to find something to be grateful for and hold it in your thoughts all day...then at the end of the day, see how you feel.
