Writer, Actor, & Director, John Palomino talks with Joe about the process of recreating the time around his father's suicide in his new movie Man of the House.  John goes into all of the thoughts and feelings that arose when he decided to play the role of his Dad.  As you can imagine, it was not easy.

John J. Palomino was born in New Rochelle, NY to April and John J. Palomino Sr. He is a Biracial Actor based on the East Coast (New York and Atlanta). His Mother, African American, born and raised in New York, and Father, born in Colombia, came to the USA when his father (John's Granfather) got recruited to play for a Soccer team in Miami, in the late 1960s. Both of his parents were extremely hard workers, but in 1993, John's father passed away a month before his 6th birthday. This unexpected death was hard for everyone.

Recently, John has been busy traveling to give screenings of Man of the House.  More than acting and directing, John enjoys the connections he has made with others that have gone through similar experiences.

You can find out more about John or reach him on Instagram @JohnPalom or @ManOfTheHouseFilm.   And a website for the movie should be up and running soon.  www.manofthehousefilm.com
