As of this moment, the House is heading to a fifth vote in an attempt to elect a Speaker. Kevin McCarthy, though he has been supported by President Trump, has not been able to get the 218 votes necessary to assume the role and replace Va Va Vodka Nancy Pelosi. WTH is wrong with the GOP? Elect someone, THEN argue about minute points later.

On the other hand, McCarthy has made a promise that gets my approval. Let's hope he and the GOP are able to follow through on that promise.

In co9llege football, we have our two teams for Monday night's CFP championship game. While one of the teams is a mild shock, more notable may have been missed calls that put two B1G teams into the championship game. On top of that, an NCAA committee's recommendation for increased participation in championship events coul mean a larger CFP and March Madness.
