Conservative Casual Friday--America's Controversial F-35: Lightning or a Lemon

Dan Grazier, the Jack Shanahan Fellow at the Project on Government Oversight's Center for Defense Information, joins show host Andrew E. Harrod to discuss the F-35.  This new fifth-generation fighter with stealth capability recently started serving in various variants with the United States Air Force, Marines, and Navy, as well as several American allies.  Controversies over cost overruns and technical problems have dogged the F-35 since its development began in 2001.  Among other matters, longstanding F-35 critic Grazier will discuss with Harrod to what degree the F-35 meets America's defense needs versus other planes, new and old.
