Will Smith and his team are pulling their film production, "Emancipation", ,out of the State of Georgia, citing non-existent elements of the states voting reform bill that was recently passed and signed into law. Despite Tyler Perry, whose studios are located there, Stacy Abrams, former candidate for Governor, is urging folks not to boycott. Except, the cat is semmingly out of the bag that Abrams, along with The Rev. Al the Sharper and LeYuan James, urged players and union officials to threaten a boycott of the MLB ASG if the game remained in Atlanta.
In better news from Georgia, we have our first Asian winner of The Masters golf tournament, with Japan's Hideiki Matsuyama blistering a back-nine 30 in Saturday's third round 65. Although it did get interesting, he kept his composure and powered home to a Green Jacket.
In PoliSports, the NCAA is threatening to pull championship events from states that enact bills that prevent biological males from competing in women's events. And in Buffalo, Erie County officials state that proof of vaccination for COVID-19 will be required in order to attend Buffalo Bills NFL games or Buffalo Sabres NHL games.
In other news, my nephew got quasi-suspended, along with other students, after riding the bus with a kid who tested positive for COVID-19. This is the same nephew who, at the age of 8, received a mail-in ballot from Pennsylvania for last Novermber's general election.
