I can’t tell you how many objections I have read and heard about the Atlantic slave trade.  This is one of the worst things western societies did from the 1500s to the 1800s.  We were finally able to rid our civilizations of this scourge through the Christian principle of equality of man.  The abolitionist movement was a Christian movement.  The Islamic movement is an enslaving movement.  I will provide you all kinds of Quranic passages and Ahadith supporting this premise.
