Alyassia Ruiz is certified as a Personal Fitness Trainer through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). She is also certified as a Weight Loss Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and is Metabolic Training Certified through the Fitness Consulting Group. She holds an MBA with a concentration in Project Management, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Government. Her healthy living journey started after the birth of her 3rd child, 5 years ago. She found herself feeling insecure about her weight and how her clothes were fitting. She’d experienced many bouts with depression, and was starting to feel the negative effects of her body fat, which had reached 46%. She took it upon herself to learn the secrets and theories of physical training, lowering her body fat to 26% and losing 4 dress sizes. It was after noticing the joy she felt speaking about fitness and healthy living that she began to pursue certification. In 2012, she left her “day job” to pursue a full-time fitness passion! Now she’s ready to help YOU with your journey with her “No Excuses” programming.
