We all know that childhood obesity is a pressing issue, but how do we go about addressing it? One group of physical therapists are exploring their options.

Emory University's division of Physical Therapy is a planning symposium to explore ways Physical Therapy professionals can be more proactive in addressing childhood obesity.  They have invited leaders in their field to create strategic action plans for the profession to do more in the ways of health wellness and prevention.

Sarah Blanton, D.P.T.,Assistant Professor, Rehabilitation Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine joins me as my very special guest to talk about this huge initiative and explain how you can get involved.
