In addition to a husband and four kids, I also live with a dog named Max, three cats named Polly, Harriet, and Lucky, a hamster named Bugs, and two fish. There were three fish until recently, but I don’t want to talk about it…

I grew up in Peterborough, Ontario. I don’t live there anymore. Since I left for university (I went to York University, in the north part of Toronto) I’ve lived in Toronto, in Innisfil, in Oshawa, in Whitby, and in Scugog Township. All of those are in Ontario, Canada, for anyone who’s geographically-challenged. I also spent a year in the wilds of New Jersey. I’m not kidding, either. There were bears.

I wrote for a website called Reality News Online for quite a while. I might again, if the mood strikes me. I’m also an editor for Confessions of a Pop Culture Addict. I have two blogs, Climbing Up the Slide and Cyn for Prime Minister. I don’t blog very often, though, so don’t get all excited. I’ll try to be better about it.

I’m opinionated, but also very shy. I try to fake it, though.

I have weird pop culture obsessions, that few other people get, so when I find someone who understands me, I make sure to keep them in my life. If you like The Partridge Family in a sick, I have a crush on David Cassidy circa 1971 kinda way, we’ll be friends for life.

I like chocolate. A lot. And chocolate peanut butter ice cream. And How I Met Your Mother. And YOU. I really like you, because you took the time to read all of this.
