As a part of and a tangible reflection of their mission statement, MSK’s President and Founder, Latanya Wooten, has committed to the Monarch Academy Baltimore Campusto conduct a Pajama and Book Drivefor all Kindergarten students entitled “Bedtime Stories for Little Ones”. The event will be held at the Monarch Academy Baltimore Campus on Friday, December 16, 2011 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. During the event each Kindergarten student will receive a set of pajamas and a book. In addition, we wanted to make it special by having the kindergarten students participate in a book reading and a storytelling session, before they receive their gifts. Parents are invited and children are encouraged to bring a blanket as we sit down, celebrate, enjoy stories, have refreshments and reinforce the desire to read.
