Elective surgeries (plastic surgery in particular) in hospitals are down now more than ever thanks to the Coronavirus. In hospitals, elective surgeries make up the bulik of hospital's income--with their rates down, hospitals are losing income, and cutting staff, slashing benefits, and laying off healthcare workers.
