Young, Gifted, and Black: Zion Ervin

To close out Black History month I am interviewing Zion Ervin. A 15 year old from Los Angeles who has launched a non-profit organization aimed at helping underprivileged youth. Her company 'Ervin Laces' is a donation based shoe store that provides shoes to youth in need. Understanding the financial diificulties some parents/guardians face when it comes to purchasing quality shoes for their children she asked friends and family to donate well kep pairs of unwanted shoes. The overflow received has been a blessing both locally and to youth visiting from other countries.
