We are told in the Word, that Christ, that Jesus, is the lamb slain before the foundation of the world; now, knowing this, for what purpose was His blood spilled? What was worth this price? I know the simple answers I will here by the dozen: He was slain to redeem man, to save man, to build a church, etc, etc. I've heard them all, but they won't wash. All this was done in Eternity, before the first sin; before creation; why could it not have been avoided? There is more here, my friends, than a simple tale of two, lost in the Garden.

Again, I return to my first question: What was the purpose of His blood? Why was the price so high?
