He served for twenty-three years in the United States Army. He was an infantryman and a paratroop commander. He served as an Assistant Professor at the United States Military Academy at West Point. He has a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University, a master’s degree from the University of Southern California, and another master’s degree from UCLA. He’s written five books on leadership and communication skills.
