THE MARRIAGE FEAST OF THE LAMB

Isaiah 54:5 speaks of the LORD being our husband.  The LORD of Hosts is His name.   It speakes of a lavish feast with rich foods and select wines for us to enjoy.   It speaks of the restoration and wiping away of shame and reproach to barren things. It speaks of how we as Christians who were the rejected of the world will be called to honor out of the abundant mercies of God. The Lord speaks of how for a moment it appeared we were forsaken and with a little wraft He hid His Face but that in His kindness, He will have mercy upon us.  Those of us who overcome to the end will sit at this feast and at the feet of Jesus. He who has an ear to hear, hear the word of the Lord.
