Frank Johnson began his post-TBI existence after a fire in his workplace about 40 years ago. Following his accident for the next 20 years, he was living in a changed world, but didn't have the words for this new existence. At that point, he was seeking help with others, and someone in that church diagnosed him with a TBI.

That gave him a name for the specific trauma. A diagnosis is often only a name, but it suddenly opened up a world of other people with the samed named condition. Frank will talk about his experience - how he ended up where he was - and what he chose to do about it.

One thing he has done is produce DREAMER, a comic book series for children with disabilities. Each issue explores subjects such as autism, bullying, hearing and sight impairment, and loss of body and brain functions. Frank will talk about how he has worked at overcoming his personal disabilities (from his TBI) and turned them into abilities. Frank has spoken to many audiences throughout the United States bringing his inspirational message of how to find the true hero in himself. Joining Frank will be Joe Janowicz, author of the DREAMER story.

During this time, he has formulated all sorts of financial, emotional, and legal advice which he will dispense. Having lived through it gives him the advantage of perspective. It is his life, but he can share the useful insights.
